Senecio glaber var. pratensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Chili tengah dan selatan hingga Argentina selatan. Nama ilmiah Senecio glaber var. pratensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rodolfo Amando Philippi pada tahun 1949.
