Senecio glaberrimus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mozambique hingga Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Senecio glaberrimus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1838.
