Senecio glandulosohirtellus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Chili (Atacama, Coquimbo). Nama ilmiah Senecio glandulosohirtellus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl Friedrich Reiche pada tahun 1903.
