Senecio hakeifolius merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Chili tengah dan utara-tengah. Nama ilmiah Senecio hakeifolius pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carlo Luigi Giuseppe Bertero pada tahun 1838.
