Senecio ochrocarpus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Ethiopia. Nama ilmiah Senecio ochrocarpus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Daniel Oliver pada tahun 1877.
