Senecio pubigerus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Senecio pubigerus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1760.
