Senecio purtschelleri adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Kenya (Gn. Kenya), Tanzania (Kilimanjaro, Gn. Meru). Nama ilmiah Senecio purtschelleri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gustav Adolf Engler pada tahun 1892.
