Senecio pyrenaicus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Pyrenees hingga Semenanjung Iberia. Nama ilmiah Senecio pyrenaicus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1758.
