Senecio riojanus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Argentina (La Pampa, Mendoza, Neuquén, Rio Negro). Nama ilmiah Senecio riojanus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ángel Lulio Cabrera pada tahun 1935.
