Senecio rudbeckiifolius merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Peru hingga Argentina barat laut. Nama ilmiah Senecio rudbeckiifolius pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Franz Julius Ferdinand Meyen pada tahun 1843.
