Senecio taraxacoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Colorado hingga New Mexico. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan dandelion ragwort. Nama ilmiah Senecio taraxacoides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Asa Gray pada tahun 1900.
