Senecio volcanicola merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Tanzania. Nama ilmiah Senecio volcanicola diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Jeffrey pada tahun 1986.
