Senecio websteri merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili selatan hingga Argentina selatan. Nama ilmiah Senecio websteri diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Joseph Dalton Hooker pada tahun 1846.
