Senecio westermanii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Brazil (São Paulo, Paraná). Nama ilmiah Senecio westermanii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Per Karl Hjalmar Dusén pada tahun 1910.
