Senecio xerophilus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Chili utara hingga Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Senecio xerophilus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Rodolfo Amando Philippi pada tahun 1860.
