Shorea crassa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Dipterocarpaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan (Sarawak). Nama ilmiah Shorea crassa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Peter Shaw Ashton pada tahun 1963.
