Silene esquamata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah China (Sichuan, Yunnan). Nama ilmiah Silene esquamata diperkenalkan oleh William Wright Smith pada tahun 1919.
