Silene obovata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Asia tengah. Nama ilmiah Silene obovata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Boris Konstantinovich Schischkin pada tahun 1936.
