Solidago petiolaris merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Amerika Serikat hingga Meksiko timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan downy ragged goldenrod. Nama ilmiah Solidago petiolaris diperkenalkan oleh William Aiton pada tahun 1789.
