Spermacoce stachydea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat hingga Sudan. Nama ilmiah Spermacoce stachydea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1830.
