Sphyrospermum microphyllum merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Ekuador (Pichincha). Nama ilmiah Sphyrospermum microphyllum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Hermann Otto Sleumer pada tahun 1934.
