Synotis rhabdos merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Assam (Nagaland) hingga Myanmar. Nama ilmiah Synotis rhabdos diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Baron Clarke pada tahun 1984.
