Thermopsis macrophylla merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah California barat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan santa inez goldenbanner. Nama ilmiah Thermopsis macrophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Jackson Hooker pada tahun 1838.
