Thevetia ahouai adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Apocynaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Venezuela, Kuba. Nama ilmiah Thevetia ahouai diperkenalkan oleh Martin Vahl pada tahun 1813.
