Tidestromia carnosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas barat daya hingga Meksiko timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan fleshy honeysweet. Nama ilmiah Tidestromia carnosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Julian Alfred Steyermark pada tahun 1943.
