Trichocladus ellipticus subsp. malosanus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau pohon dari famili Hamamelidaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia hingga kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Trichocladus ellipticus subsp. malosanus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1970.
