Trichostema setaceum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat timur hingga Texas. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan narrowleaf bluecurls. Nama ilmiah Trichostema setaceum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Maarten Houttuyn pada tahun 1778.
