Triplaris setosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru hingga Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Triplaris setosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henry Hurd Rusby pada tahun 1927.
