Ursinia scariosa subsp. subhirsuta merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat. Nama ilmiah Ursinia scariosa subsp. subhirsuta diperkenalkan oleh Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1967.
