Vernonia arabica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Nama ilmiah Vernonia arabica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Joseph Decaisne pada tahun 1875. Nama spesies ini merupakan sinonim dari Vernonia spathulata.
