Vernonia colorata subsp. grandis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Seychelles (Aldabra), Madagaskar, Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Chagos Arch. (Diego Garcia), Komoro. Nama ilmiah Vernonia colorata subsp. grandis diperkenalkan oleh Alphonse Louis Pierre Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1988.
