Vernonia confusa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko (Oaxaca). Nama ilmiah Vernonia confusa mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 2016.
