Vernonia schweinfurthii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari kawasan tropis Afrika. Nama ilmiah Vernonia schweinfurthii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Daniel Oliver pada tahun 1877.
