Viguiera orientalis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko (San Luis PotosÃ). Nama ilmiah Viguiera orientalis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Billie Lee Turner pada tahun 1985.
