Viola aethnensis subsp. splendida merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Violaceae yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Italia selatan-tengah. Nama ilmiah Viola aethnensis subsp. splendida diperkenalkan oleh Wilhelm Becker pada tahun 1977.
