Viola canescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Pakistan timur laut hingga India bagian barat dan Assam. Nama ilmiah Viola canescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 1824.
