Viola capillaris merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Chili tengah dan selatan-tengah. Nama ilmiah Viola capillaris pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christiaan Hendrik Persoon pada tahun 1805.
