Viola chaerophylloides merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Rusia Timur Jauh selatan, China dan Korea, hingga Jepang selatan (Tsushima). Nama ilmiah Viola chaerophylloides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Eduard August von Regel pada tahun 1902.
