Viola escarapela merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Chili tengah. Nama ilmiah Viola escarapela pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Michael Watson pada tahun 2003.
