Viola mercurii merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Yunani selatan (Killini Oros). Nama ilmiah Viola mercurii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Theodoros G. Orphanides pada tahun 1894.
