Viola paradoxa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Madeira. Nama ilmiah Viola paradoxa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Richard Thomas Lowe pada tahun 1838.
