Viola rafinesquei merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada selatan hingga Amerika Serikat bagian barat-tengah dan timur. Nama ilmiah Viola rafinesquei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1899.
