Viola rugulosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan subarktik Amerika hingga Amerika Serikat bagian barat dan tengah. Nama ilmiah Viola rugulosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1902.
