Viola tashiroi merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Nansei-shoto (Iriomote-jima, Ishigakijima). Nama ilmiah Viola tashiroi pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Tomitaro Makino pada tahun 1907.
