Viola tricolor subsp. macedonica merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Violaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup dua musim (biennial). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Semenanjung Balkan. Nama ilmiah Viola tricolor subsp. macedonica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1967.
