Viola truncata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Chili tengah. Nama ilmiah Viola truncata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Franz Julius Ferdinand Meyen pada tahun 1834.
