Viola vittata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari New Jersey hingga Texas timur. Nama ilmiah Viola vittata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1898.
