Vochysia rufa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Vochysiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil hingga Bolivia utara. Nama ilmiah Vochysia rufa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1826.
