Vochysia rufa var. sericea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Vochysiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Brazil. Nama ilmiah Vochysia rufa var. sericea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Baptist Emanuel Pohl pada tahun 1875.
