Zanthoxylum lepidopteriphilum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rutaceae (suku jeruk-jerukan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ekuador, Peru, hingga Venezuela barat laut. Nama ilmiah Zanthoxylum lepidopteriphilum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carlos Reynel pada tahun 1995.
