Zanthoxylum lepidopteriphilum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rutaceae (suku jeruk-jerukan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ekuador hingga Peru, Venezuela barat laut. Nama ilmiah Zanthoxylum lepidopteriphilum diperkenalkan oleh Carlos Reynel pada tahun 1995.
